- BEEF AND RICE SKILLET
- Top of stove dish. Only one skillet needed. Simple!

- I%1 1/2, tsp., salt
- I%1, tsp., pepper, (or to taste)

- I%1/2, medium, green pepper
- I%1 1/3, cup, white rice, (instant variety)
- I%28, oz, tomatoes, canned
- I%1/2, T., yellow mustard

- R%Lightly brown the ground beef in the margarine in a large skillet.
- R%Season with 1 tsp. salt and the pepper. Meanwhile, thinly slice
- R%onion and green pepper and add it to the skillet. Stir in the
- R%instant rice. Sautee over high heat until the rice is lightly
- R%browned. Add the tomatoes, mustard, and the remaining salt.
- R%Mix well and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer 5 minutes
- R%uncovered.
